Hello. This blog is dedicated to our (Megumi and me) struggle to survive and persevere through 5 years of school and terrible jobs. We have accomplished our goal, and our now very excited to encounter our next goal, in Okaya, Japan. I will be an English Teacher in this town located in Southern Nagano Prefecture. The town itself is located in the "Suwa" Region on the second map. Most people are familiar with Nagano from the 1998 Winter Olympics. However, prior to leaving I have decided to focus on Los Angeles for the next few weeks.
Okay Los Angeles, whats to say. I really enjoyed it, yet I spent an excessive amount of time at YRL library studying, so I cant say I had the best experience possible. But, my time spent in Los Angeles gave me a much greater appreciation for "good" public transportation. I certainly will not miss the Sepulveda Pass at rush hour, but still it is LA. Anyway, I took some pictures of UCLA the other day at around dusk. I figure I wont be back for a while, so why not be somewhat nostalgic.
