This morning while Megumi was at work I decided to shoot some pictures down at Dockweiler Beach. The beach here is very beautiful, yet the most interesting aspect of this beach is the fact that most of it is located at the end of LAX. So not only do you enjoy a beautiful beach, but you can watch airplanes take off. There is also a little park on the airport side.
I have never really seen this beach to crowded which makes it pretty great, as most people end up going to Venice or Santa Monica. But, if you looking for a quiet beach, this is definitely not for you. To get an idea of how loud it gets, take a look at the beach's proximity to LAX, pretty damn close.
But, aside from this the view is spectacular and the breeze cool. Another benefit is the convenient street parking, athough somewhat limited. Generally, I have never had a problem finding a space to park.
